Annual Physical and Well-Woman Exam in Baton Rouge
Most annual physicals are built around a 15-minute slot. A few vitals, a quick exam, a lab order, and a reminder to come back next year. Questions about sleep, energy, weight, hormones, or what is coming next get squeezed in at the door, if they come up at all.
At Femme Executive Health, the annual physical is the foundation of your year. Dr. Kate Freeman, a board-certified family medicine physician with more than 16 years of experience, takes the time to look at where your health is now and where it is heading.

Questions Women Ask
-
A health and history review, a complete physical exam, lab work, age-appropriate screenings, a vaccine review, and a plan for the year ahead. At Femme, it is tailored to your age and membership and is never rushed.
-
A well-woman exam focuses on preventive care specific to women: a health review, a physical exam, and screenings such as a Pap smear, pelvic exam, and breast exam. At Femme, Dr. Freeman does these in the office as part of your annual physical, so your gynecologic, hormonal, and overall health are looked at together. If you prefer, she can coordinate with your gynecologist instead.
-
Once a year is the standard for preventive care. Members can be seen whenever something comes up in between.
-

-
Insurance is billed for covered preventive screenings, labs, and medically necessary care. The membership covers the longer appointments, direct access, and more in-depth assessments that insurance does not.
