Dr. Kate Freeman, board-certified physician and founder of Femme Executive Health

Dr. Kate Freeman, MD

Dr. Kate Freeman has spent more than 16 years caring for patients across every stage of life, health and illness, in a wide range of settings. She has cared for women from young adulthood through menopause and beyond, and that depth of experience is what allows her to see the long arc of women’s health: how hormones, metabolism, mood, sleep, cardiovascular risk and longevity intersect over time.

Women’s health has historically been under-researched and under-prioritized. Many women are told their symptoms are normal, stress-related, or simply something to endure. Dr. Freeman believes women deserve evidence-based answers, advanced screening, and personalized strategies that prevent problems rather than manage them once they appear.

She is a firm believer in shared decision-making, and she respects each woman’s autonomy and personal preferences in her own care.

Menopause and Perimenopause Care

As a Certified Practitioner with The Menopause Society, Dr. Freeman has completed formal training and examination in the care of women through perimenopause and menopause. Menopause receives very little dedicated time in standard medical training, which is why so many women are told their symptoms are simply part of getting older.

How care works with Dr. Freeman

A woman is sitting and talking to a girl in a hospital or clinic room. The woman is smiling and wearing a cream blouse with dark pants, while the girl is in a hospital gown with glasses.

Expertise alone does not define Femme Health. What sets Dr. Freeman apart is the structure of care she has built.

Appointments are unhurried. Plans are individualized. Testing is strategic. Communication is direct and reliable.

This is medicine designed around your time, your physiology and your long-term goals. Femme Health cares for women ages 16 and older, and it represents the culmination of Dr. Freeman’s life’s work, an intentional model of care built for women who expect more.
